I’m Kiya, and I am super passionate about Isis, Magdalena, and the spiritual practices once used in the Egyptian temples thousands of years ago.

What the heck is an initiation anyway? And is it safe?
An initiation is a guided step-by-step process that supports a connection or an unlocking of particular energies in your body, mind and spirit. Within Ankh Healing I guide you into activating your body’s Ka (your energy body), and support you to connect more deeply to the earth, the heavens, and the Egyptian Gods and Goddesses.
It’s perfectly safe because you are always in control. If something feels too strong or overwhelming, you can slow down or stop the practice. I teach you grounding and integration tools to support this.
Through the guided breath, sound, movement and meditation techniques you sensitise more and more to your energy body. You learn powerful practices that for many people become spiritual tools they use for a lifetime. It is powerful and deeply healing.
SAFETY NOTE: After the initiations, you might need some integration time before doing other things. This is natural, and it’s good to take into consideration in terms of how you structure your day (or evening) after the training.

YES! This online training is suitable for you if you have a curiosity about Egypt and you are open to learning new spiritual healing techniques. I will guide and initiate you step-by-step. All you need is the openness to try something new.

I have already trained in reiki or healing, is this course for me?
Yes! Even if you have learnt Reiki or other healing modalities there is something unique within the Ankh Healing system. It connects you into the Egyptian lineage which is very different to a traditional Reiki training. It will help expand your toolkit in new directions, working with the ancient technology of the Ankh and giving you access to the Egyptian Lineage of Light – an Ancient Mystery School Lineage which is undistorted by human influence.

I don't know if I trust Egyptian teachings, some say they're dark and should be avoided. Any thoughts?
That’s a really good question. Over thousands of years different religious groups have talked down more ancient teachings, proclaiming their system as superior to that which came before them. Within this can be an agenda to discredit other teachings in order to bring people into their own belief system, and at times they have gone as far as demonising these ancient systems, in order to bring more people into their religious group. So it is good to consider who has called the Egyptian teachings ‘dark’ and what their motives were in relation to this.
Let us also recognise that at times, certain people (and secret societies) have taken Egyptian teachings and used them for selfish or destructive ends. This to me is where there was a distortion within the original teachings which took the teachings down an egoic path – and also gave some truth to some claims that they were dark teachings. Not because they were originally intended in this way but because human minds shaped the focus of their teachings, at times deeply influenced by their own egotistical desires.
Separate to that is the Egyptian Lineage of Light, the original stream of teachings undistorted by ego or self-serving. Within the Lineage of Light we focus on learning these teachings so as to be in service to the world. Thus we return to the original intention behind the teachings.
Can I ask questions if anything doesn't make sense during the training?
Yes you can! If you are joining us live you can ask questions at numerous points throughout the training. The only time this is not allowed is when we are in a healing session or meditation as it will interrupt the experience for everyone.

I’m excited, yet still a bit nervous to embark on this journey. Is this normal?
Feeling nervous to go on this journey is perfectly normal. I felt the same when I first started exploring the world of spirituality. It can feel a little edgy to dive into anything new, even though you KNOW you really want to do it. Often the edge is where all the growth is, and this kind of training can at times bring you lovingly to your edges to support your growth.

I’m very sensitive to energy, are these initiations for me?
Being sensitive to energy puts you at an advantage, and you will likely have a powerful experience as a result of joining this training. If at any point it starts to feel overwhelming, you can let go of any practice or technique we might be working with. You are welcome to pause, rest, meditate and allow yourself to ground at any point during the training.

I don't really feel energy, is it worth me doing these trainings?
If you’re new to energy practices these initiations can fast-track that energy sensitisation process. This is exactly what happened to me over 20 years ago when I went for my first ever Reiki initiation. The experience itself was beautiful, but more importantly over the following few weeks, I started to notice more sensitivity to energy in myself, and a heightened ability to feel it in the world around me.
We all open to energy sensitivity at different speeds, and I know many people who have taken a quantum leap in sensitivity by doing these initiations, in a way that is truly life-changing.
